Scream Queens Week Two
So this week, things started out a lot differently. The girls all met in a room with Kelly Wagner. Now, if you’re not familiar with her, she was the casting director for Grudge 1 and Grudge 2, along with Hostel 1 and Hostel 2. In other words, she knows her stuff. She did mini interviews with the girls. It was all about first impressions and secondly about the experience that the girls did have. Because of the conclusions that she came to, 2 girls were sent off for a make-over: Marissa and Lindsay.
This is my pure opinion and I may not be alone in this one. Michelle gives the impression of a spoiled cheerleader. I think she’s under the belief that because she has a nice body, that she will and can get everything she wants. Boy, is she in for a rude awakening!
The girls’ second session with Jon was all about facial expressions. Could the girls make faces to match whatever scenario the acting teacher described to them? Turns out, most of the ladies did know how to react to an imaginary event…well even. The ladies that couldn’t quite cut it, Michelle and Kylah, I’m not sure what their problem was. And so, no single actress really aced the challenge, at least imho.
James wanted something more visual from the remaining 9. He wanted them to pose for a horror photo shoot of sorts. Each girl was to match the title of a made up horror movie, gently named after actual popular horror movies. They were to create, with help from make-up and wardrobe, a movie poster that James could judge. Kelly Wagner helped James out on this one. Here’s a few things that some of the girls had to work with. Marissa played a seductive mummy, but not well enough. Angela was dressed in a wedding gown, holding a fake severed hand. Lindsay wore white contacts and a hospital gown, and so on. I think you get the picture.

While the girls were learning about body language and facial expressions, it seemed that one particular woman couldn’t make but one face. She couldn’t differ the look no matter what the situation. She was axed in the end…Kylah had the body and brains but not the talent, and so they let her go.

My boyfriend proposed to me and next year. I am hoping for a late summer wedding but we have not finished much preparation. Does anyone have any ideas for when is the good time to buy the wedding dress?
