Milla is a Perfect Getaway

I have held off from talking about this person for awhile. I have never formally reviewed her work, but her body of work is something I have long admired. Since I first saw Resident Evil back in 2001 on my birthday, I was hooked. I had seen her act prior to that in 5th Element as Leeloo, and enjoyed her performance there as well! I liked her character in UltraViolet. While she was not born in the U.S., she has been accepted as at least a decent actress. For me, her ability and whether or not she had any, was sealed in Resident Evil, more specifically Resident Evil 3. That’s mostly because she starred alongside Ali Larter and I’m also a fan of hers.

Milla Jovovich, love her or hate her, has been doing horror movies for over 7 years now. After she starred in Resident Evil as Alice, she went on to act in Resident Evil 2: Apocalypse, Resident Evil 3:Extinction, and is even rumored to star in Resident Evil 4! Now, she is starring in A Perfect Getaway, due out in the middle of August. She and Steve Zahn play a couple who are on a Hawaiian vacation. Their vacation almost comes to an end when they find out that they are being stalked by killers. Sounds decent enough. I’ll at least put it in my Netflix queue!

I can’t wait to see what other horror movies this Ukranian-born actress does in the near future. I’m really hoping that Resident Evil 4 is not just a rumor that some hopeful fan started out of sheer boredom! She kicks ass as Alice and I’m sure she’ll kick even more ass before she tires of the relentless action and gore. If for some reason you have Never seen the Resident Evil movies, you need to! Put them in Your queue! Zombies and kickass women are just what this world needs more of!!

UPDATE: Resident Evil 4: Afterlife has been confirmed by several sources now. Even Milla has said that they will start shooting the end of the year!! Quick spoiler alert! Last we saw the kickass heroine Alice, she was on her way to Tokyo, with her clones to kick some Umbrella Corp. ass!!!!!!
