Melanie Robel “Horror Princess”

Melanie Robel was born at Fort Riley, Kansas, but grew up in Europe and across the United States. Being an Army Brat does explain her independent way of looking at things. Also being half European doesn’t hurt either. She gotten bitten by the acting bug after watching Carol Burnette and Bernadette Peters in “Annie”. Tim Curry didn’t hurt either. For a while she was playing the bassoon and then training to be a classical Ballerina complete with tutu and pointe shoes. Sadly, she was dropped during an onstage performance and that was the end of that. So, back to her first love, acting.
You can see her in The Nightmare Collection, Vol.2, Post Mortem 2021. Bikini Monsters and Fleur De Mai, a series about teenagers facing harsh modern issues. Her upcoming projects also include, Into The Basement, Zen Hunter, The Perfect Serial Killer and Feed. Then there are the conventions. Of course those are more fun than work.
She has been asked if she considers herself a “Scream Queen”? Her reply has always been, “No, not really. I haven’t earned that title, but hopefully someday. Maybe I would be more of a “Horror Princess”, in training.”
