Is Briana Evigan Scream Worthy?

If you have been paying any attention at all, you know that she is a hot commodity, or at the very least…hot! Briana has wrapped production on 2 horror movies, count them…2. She plays the best friend of the main character in S. Darko and she plays a sorority girl with a deadly secret in Sorority Row. Both films are set for release in 2009. S. Darko comes out May 12th and Sorority Row comes out October 2nd of this year. I know that I’ll be watching both of these horror movies, for different reasons of course. But before I do, I like to post mini blogs or bios for the horror-loving people out there who don’t know who she is.

Briana Evigan has starred in several movies, (House of the Damned, Bottoms Up, Step Up 2) played a zombie on Fear Itself’s New Year’s Day episode, and been in a few music videos (Linkin Park’s Numb for starters). While she isn’t new to the world of horror, she also technically couldn’t be considered that experienced either. And there is nothing wrong with that. She gets to show her talent and ability in both S. Darko and Sorority Row this year!

As Corey, she is the best friend of Samantha and is also along for the ride in S. Darko. Her role in Sorority Row is Cassidy, one of six college girls who are stalked by a serial killer after she and her sisters play a prank on another sorority sister…who ends up dead as a result! So now the sisters are trying to figure out who knows their secret and is intent on killing them.

Only time and her starring in more movies will show if she can someday be called a scream queen! If her performance in the Fear Itself episode is any indicator of her abilities, then it probably won’t be long for everyone to realize that she is worthy of that much sought after title!

She may be a scream queen yet!
